https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=449807 Summary: Qt Dock Widgets have a wrong minimum size Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: amroth@coldshock.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Any application which uses Qt Dock Widgets (QDockWidget) suffers from a tedious bug: whenever the dock gets resized to the minimum allowed size, the widget contained within the dock "overflows" over the dock's border. If the dock was placed on the right or bottom side, there are no consequences except a visual glitch (the dock border disappears over the window's border). But if the dock was placed on the top or left side, the overflowing inner widget will cover the resizing handle, making it impossible to resize it again. The bug is perfectly reproducible here using qtdemo: run "qtdemo", then choose "Main Windows" from the menu, then again "Dock Widgets" and finally launch the demo. Within the Dock Widgets demo, move one of the docks to the left side and resize both to the minimum possible size. On my box, I'm running * Qt 4.4.3 from the 11.0 repository ( https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=libqt4&project=KDE%3AQt ) * KDE 4.2 Beta1 ( http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE%3a/KDE4%3a/UNSTABLE%3a/Desktop... ) I've also tried this under Ubuntu (Qt 4.4.0 though) but there the problem doesn't occur at all. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
