After change proposed in comment #7, this dependency chain will break. So we will need: - Install avahi by default independently on package dependenciens. - Make avahi and nss-mdns easily removable for users of AD (MDNS and AD resolving of .local domain are conflicting). Yet another possible solution: Make possible to install avahi without nss-mdns.
