ERROR: pid directory /var/run/samba does not exist Thats also the case for .xsession-errors-:0, the same output is written into that file under both versions: Object::connect: No such signal org::freedesktop::UPower::DeviceAdded(QDBusObjectPath) Object::connect: No such signal org::freedesktop::UPower::DeviceRemoved(QDBusObjectPath) kded(2042) KBookmarkManager::notifyChanged: KBookmarkManager::notifyChanged ( "" ) I've had debug output enabled for kded and 7020 kded4. But what I observed after the upgrade of upower to the latest version now is that the startup-time of Dolphin is not as bad as before with the current version, although it's still noticeable slower than with the previous version. I've had the suspicion that the startup time for dolphin increases in correlation to the system uptime before, this effect might appear now. So I'll further observe that. Unfortunately, I wasn't careful enough and got other updated packages installed during the upgrade of upower, which were: libzypp 13.8.5-6.1, zypper-aptitude 1.9.6-8.1, zypper-log 1.9.6-8.1, zypper 1.9.6-8.1, libgphoto2-6-32bit 2.5.2.1-2.5.1, libuuid1-32bit 2.23.2-6.1, rpm-32bit 4.11.1-6.5.1, glibc 2.18-4.11.1, glibc-info 2.18-4.11.1, nscd 2.18-4.11.1, glibc-extra 2.18-4.11.1, glibc-devel 2.18-4.11.1, libuuid1 2.23.2-6.1, libupower-glib1 0.9.23-2.4.1, libprocps1 3.3.8-5.4.1, libgphoto2-6 2.5.2.1-2.5.1, dosbox 0.74-19.4.1, coreutils 8.21-7.8.1, libuuid-devel 2.23.2-6.1, libblkid1 2.23.2-6.1, upower 0.9.23-2.4.1, glibc-locale 2.18-4.11.1, rpm 4.11.1-6.5.1, procps 3.3.8-5.4.1, libmount1 2.23.2-6.1, libblkid-devel 2.23.2-6.1, rpm-python 4.11.1-6.5.1, util-linux 2.23.2-6.1, wine-snapshot-32bit 1.7.10.20140108.1906-1.1, wine-snapshot 1.7.10.20140108.1906-1.1, wine-mono 4.5.2-7.2, simutrans 112.1-1.4. I can't judge whether any of those could have a (positive?) side effect on the behaviour expected before. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
