https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=887312 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=887312#c0 Summary: virt-manager can be made to hang. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KVM AssignedTo: kvm-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: osynge@suse.com QAContact: jdouglas@suse.com Found By: Development Blocker: --- Some recent update makes virt-manager add hardware wizard fail for adding disks. To reproduce (on my laptop it happens every time): 1) Click host 2) shut down vm 3) view-details 4) select disk 5) +add hardware 6) select radio button -> "select managed or local storage" 7) click browse 8) in new dialogue click "browse local" virt-manager will now hang for near 5 mins. This makes direct editing of the XML files for libvirt easier than via virt-manager. I hope this does not occur on SLE12. $lsb_release -a LSB Version: n/a Distributor ID: openSUSE project Description: openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (x86_64) Release: 13.1 Codename: Bottle $uname -a Linux linux-520c.site 3.11.10-11-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon May 12 13:37:06 UTC 2014 (3d22b5f) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux $ -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
