https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1227126 Bug ID: 1227126 Summary: Fix "zypper ls service" to allow testing whether the service exists Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp Assignee: zypp-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: ma@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Target Milestone: --- Found By: --- Blocker: --- One can use "zypper lr NAME" to test whether a repo named NAME exists. Unfortunately this does not work for services, but IMO it should. If this was fixed in zypper, the openSUSE-repos-* packages could do "zypper ls openSUSE || zypper as ... openSUSE". This would add (and enable) the service only if it does not exist. A disabled service would stay disabled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
