It doesn't matter if the logs include system installation, the interesting thing is the act of trying to interchange the mouse buttons. Please attach also output of the 'hwinfo', 'dmesg' (after plugging-in the mouse) and 'lsmod'. All requested files from both the old and new laptop to let us see the difference.
