http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1002674 Bug ID: 1002674 Summary: task bar always shows ALL tasks running on system regardless of virtual desktop filter setting Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: 64bit OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Workspace (Plasma) Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: rlaggren@mail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build Identifier: Task bar on all virtual desktops is cluttered by always showing all tasks running regardless of which virtual desktop any task is running in. The only setting I found which might control this is Settings/Window-Mgt/Task-Switch/Filter-windows-by; but it apparently does not affect the task bar display. (Nothing is found under Settings/Workspace/Desktop-behavior/Virtual-desktops.... Which is where I had hoped to find filters for the desktops. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open applications in different desktops 2.Taskbar in any virtual desktop displays ALL task running, not just what is running in the current virtual desktop. Actual Results: Taskbar always display all tasks running in all virtual desktops on the system regardless of which virtual desktop is current. Expected Results: Taskbar should display only tasks started or moved to the current desktop. Degrades usefulness of virtual desktops a lot. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
