http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=547292 Summary: cups seems to leave PPD files in /tmp for every print job Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Printing AssignedTo: jsmeix@novell.com ReportedBy: Ulrich.Windl@rz.uni-regensburg.de QAContact: jsmeix@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.21) Gecko/20090410 SUSE/1.1.16-1.1.2 SeaMonkey/1.1.16 In /tmp there are many files named like: 4ad32740f18fe, 4ad3274339a7a, 4ad3274cbf3c4, ... When opening such a file, it seems to be a PPD file or print template. In my case it starts with: *PPD-Adobe: "4.3" *%============================================================================= *% *% PPD for Kyocera KM-3060 (German) *% Linux Version *% *% Copyright (C) 2000 KYOCERA CORPORATION. *% Copyright (C) 2007 Revised Edition KYOCERA MITA CORPORATION. [...] ..and ends with: *% End of PPD file for Kyocera KM-3060 (German) *cupsProtocol: None
From the file dates, I guess it's created when a print job was submitted.
Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Print (using seamonkey or the Acrobat Reader plugin (most likely)) Actual Results: Files are left in /tmp Expected Results: After the print finished, there should not be extra files in /tmp leftover. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
