The system is a Dell Optiplex 740 with Athlon X2 4000+ and 4Gb of RAM, BIOS revision 2.0.12 and after a upgrade to 2.2.2 has same results. Same issue occurs with a network installation. The kernel on the network installer was 2.6.25.5-default 64bits and we try with a 2.6.27.7-9-default with the same results. The 32bits installer works ok and this DVD media runs fine on another computer brands. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.boot from DVD 64bit installer on Dell Optiplex 740 2.boot from network using PXE with a 64bit installer 3.
