https://github.com/choff/anbox-modules exists which allows installing binder (and ashmem, so as previously said, not needed anymore) with dkms.
I apologize for my possibly rude interference. But using dkms is not a solution. At most, this can be considered a temporary band-aid.
Indeed, I didn't mean for it to come across as the resolution to this ticket. However, since the original comment wanted to use Waydroid, there is a way to do it without building the kernel yourself.
