Indeed: return (tbsize = (int)rl.rlim_max); seems to be a bit excessive. But I'm not sure how else to determine a good value. Thorsten, would be changing this to the soft limit appropriate, e.g: return (tbsize = (int)rl.rlim_cur); ?
