https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=400707 Summary: Wireless does not work reliably with unencryptet networks Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: uli.2001@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I am using a Thinkpad T60. The wireless network always works with any encryptet network. Unencryptet networks are found reliably bit KNetworkManager. However, when I try to connect to them, there is a chance below 50% that the connection actually works (the connection process seems to time out). Another try usually does not help. Rebooting the laptop sometimes works. I noticed this on every unencrypted network I tried to use in hotels and so on while travelling. The same networks work reliably when I boot into windows. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
