The DVD installation workflow shows a confirmation popup when one wants to skip user configuration, so should Live-CD install.
Hm, warning popup should be shown...
and this should be added to yast2-users.
On Live-CD it seems to be even possible to skip root passwd input without any warning.
Strange, than the root dialog should appear in 2nd stage...
However, I do not understand this: if root pw is not entered, the dialog should open in 2nd stage. y2log-1 says: 2009-10-30 12:40:23 <1> linux(2718) [Perl] modules/UsersSimple.pm(UsersSimple::Write):928 1st stage user information written: 1 2009-10-30 12:40:23 <1> linux(2718) [Perl] modules/UsersSimple.pm(UsersSimple::Write):939 enabling step 'root' for second stage 2009-10-30 12:40:23 <1> linux(2718) [Perl] modules/UsersSimple.pm(UsersSimple::Write):954 enabling steps 'auth' and 'user' for second stage UsersSimple on these places does the call ProductControl->EnableModule ("root"); etc. However, these steps are not executed in 2nd stage. I assume it behaves differently because of live installation.
