Basically all the component and JS errors are not in the console output of Firefox unless configured somehow. Unfortunately I'm not sure which configuration that might be.
Note -- I am talking about the FF internal console, not the system console. This is the default on other platforms -- maybe it should be the default here as well **OR**... have an "Application Log" where all these messages from various applications are recorded -- but putting them out on a terminal that MAY or may not be visible? Might as well dump them to dev/null.
Some output is expected:
(process:53856): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion `sys_page_size == 0' failed ==== FF isn't the only one giving out GLIB messages -- they should be going to some logfile if they are important... but otherwise, it looks like debugging information wasn't turned off when compiling it.
Not sure about this one.
(firefox:53856): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager: networkIdsList argument is NULL.
Somehow expected since you are not in a real remote session. ==== This comes up alot and is a big problem. Since my Session has been "real", for 2 decades, and now someone comes along and tells me I don't have a "real" remote session? This is a problem for anyone who's sole use of this product is via a remote system logging in and using 'X'. I even had the KDE-desktop running -- and it gave all sorts of similar errors -- but normally I don't run it because it locks up and isn't very responsive.
But this whole issue of being in a 'real session' is a problem since I'm always in a real session. My workstation won't boot up correctly if the server isn't active and the server's only accelerated graphical output device is on the workstation.
Have you configured any environment variables to control that? Like described here: https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Share_certificates_between_applications_or_whole...
I don't have any certificates to share that I know of. I've always just used the system default ones. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
