https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=652375 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=652375#c0 Summary: OpenSUSE SLAB does not show focus when selecting items via keyboard Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: aburgemeister@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: malcolm_lewis@bellsouth.net Found By: Customer Services Priority: 300 Blocker: --- OpenSUSE 11.3 Gnome A customer has reported in the public forums that when navigating the main menu in Gnome (SLAB?) that the currently-highlighted item cannot be seen. When browsing the menu with a mouse the onHover-like event shows the item over which the mouse is hovering properly but when maneuvering with the keyboard there is no such indicator (arguably when it is needed more because there is no obvious mouse pointer). Maneuvering and selecting ([Enter]) does work properly, though it is harder without the indication of the current location. The main 'Applications', 'Documents', and 'Places' buttons do highlight, but the items within those sections do not. This is always reproducible (fully-patched system in my case). Expected Results: Indicate the current button when maneuvering within the menu. Actual Results: No indication of the current position when using the keyboard. http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/hardware/446737-gnome-main-... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
