However, I don't think that Michael wants to eject the disk immediatelly after the installation, since that effectively means halting the system. What I see as the only solution is to eject the drive while shutting the live system down. This brings me the idea to make the system eject the drive while shutting down for reboot (e.g. via an init script). Since automatical eject may be useful for other scenarios as well, it might make sense to have its support in the default init scripts. YaST could then after the live instalation finishes whether to reboot (incl. ejecting the drive). I guess that the init scripts are somehow kiwi-specific, am I right?
