https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=420817 Summary: MyODBC-unixODBC require additional configuration after installation Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jarl@softace.dk QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer After installing MyODBC-unixODBC 'odbcinst -q -d' displays no drivers. An additional installation command is necessary for the MyODBC driver to be integrated in the unixODBC installation, like sudo myodbc3i -a -d -t"MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver;Driver64=/usr/lib64/unixODBC/libmyodbc3.so;Setup64=/usr/lib64/libmyodbc3S.so" This is not very nice, such integration should happen already when installing MyODBC-unixODBC. My experience is from SuSE 10.3, but I believe the situation is the same on SuSE 11.0 See also bug 336140 comment 4. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
