We want to release this version upgrade as an online maintenance update soon after openSUSE 12.1 is released, and we don't think it is critical enough to push it into 12.1 GM at this late stage (RC2+) in the cycle. Again, sorry for creating confusion, and requesting Benjamin to reset the NEEDINFO contact to the maintenance team so that they can decide if it is okay to release this an online maintenance update for openSUSE 12.1.
