There are K02 and S04 symlinks for boot.clock in /etc/init.d/boot.d, I guess that means the service is enabled. Now I remember that I had to disable NTP during installation in the clock dialog, since in case NTP was enabled, the time would keep being offset by 5 or 7 hours for whatever reason and I thus had to set it manually. NTP is enabled again now and it still works, but maybe the installation has set up things differently.
