The partition of Windows set up is fairly regular as far as I can tell (see the attachment "yast2-windows-partitions.png"). Yast2 says that it would delete the partitions created by Windows because it can't resize them due to inconsistent file system. When using custom partition setup Yast2 gives the error message that there is not enough space although there is. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Resize Windows 7 partition 2. Select LVM based proposal during installation of openSUSE 12.2 3. Actual Results: Yast2 refuses to install openSUSE 12.2 alongside Windows 7; it Expected Results: Installation of openSUSE 12.2 alongside Windows 7 This was the first time for me to try LVM because I wanted a fully encrypted system. In the past with version 11.3, 11.4 and 12.1 Yast2 always did a very good job on this laptop when freshly installing the system with regular root and home partitions without encryption. By fresh install I mean deleting all Linux partitions and restoring the MBR before installation. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
