https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=760425 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=760425#c0 Summary: Samba printing not working after update to 3.6.3 (NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Samba AssignedTo: samba-maintainers@SuSE.de ReportedBy: carlos.lange@ualberta.ca QAContact: samba-maintainers@SuSE.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=489281) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=489281) excerpt of /var/log/cups/error_log User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/536.6 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/20.0.1096.0 Safari/536.6 SUSE/20.0.1096.0 Attempt to print to a Samba printer server results in print process being "held" indefinitely. If I try to re-install the printer with YaST, the server "Test Connection" gives OK. I double-checked the user name and password. But when I try to print a test page I get: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED Reproducible: Always I tried to stop AppArmor with "service boot.apparmor stop", but it did not help. Work-around: downgraded packages "samba", "samba-client", "libwclient0" and "libsmbclient0" to version samba-3.5.7-3.5.1.x86_64 and printing now works as before. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
