Many thanks for the excellent work packaging it. It seems that in TL2007 all language hyphenation patterns were enabled by default. But in TL2008 only english, usenglishmax, dumylang, nohyphenation are available by default. I need hyphenation patterns for Spanish, German, French, Italian, Latin and ancient Greek, at least. I didn't find any language.dat file that (Xe)LaTeX could read from. After reading the TeXLive 2008 documentation and asking at my local TUG mailing list, it seems that hyphenation patterns are enabled using tlmgr. How could I enable more hyphenation patterns in TL2008?
