Software openSUSE 13.1 M1 Process: network install over pxe+ssh, root on iSCSI. When I started the 2nd phase, /etc/resolv.conf was empty, so download.opensuse.org couldn't be resolved. I guess /etc/resolv.conf would normally be populated by a dhcp-script, but dhcp wasn't started on any network interface. I configured /etc/resolv.conf manually, then completed 2nd phase. After "You can login with the (new) root password or the newly created user account in a few seconds ..." the system appears to have downed the network interface, and not restarted it, so the system never came back up. I had to do a hard reset (SysRq-B was disabled?)
