https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=248243 Summary: Network install picks wireless connection instead of ethernet Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bjrosen@polybus.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I tried to do a network install on my Compaq R3000Z (AMD16 based) notebook using the openSUSE-10.2-GM-i386-mini installer. The installer picked the worthless Broadcom 802.11g controller instead of the ethernet controller which made it impossible to do the install. There doesn't seem to be any way tell the installer which network connection to use. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
