https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682868 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682868#c0 Summary: Quality of postscript terminal restricted due to error in prologue.ps Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dieter.jurzitza@t-online.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 A short time ago a width limit has been introduced into the prologue file for the postscript terminal of gnuplot. This enlarges the minimum size of a line in the gnuplot postscript (and hence eps and pdf) terminal without a need. Please take a look at both attached files "federausdehnung-gut.pdf" (patched prologue.ps) and "federausdehnung-schlecht.pdf" (unpatched prologue.ps). The arrows at the axes differ significantly, the quality of the "-schlecht" version is poor (IMHO). On top find a patch against the distribution version that fixes this behaviour. Thank you for looking into this Dieter Jurzitza Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Draw an arrow in the postscript terminal 2. look at it's tip - it is not as sharp as expected 3. Actual Results: poor quality of arrow tips Expected Results: sharp arrow tips Take out the line making the arrow tips look poor -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
