I tried many variations and these are my results (I will try other things later and report back): The new alsa packages along with pulse 0.9.12 didn't work. I got interference between different sources as always. But with pulse 0.9.14, it worked well only with the glitch-free or stock mode as described in the other bug report. Without the glitch-free mode (using tsched=0) audio from any source stutters using pulse 0.9.14. Unfortunately the problem with the loud initial distortion when using flash remains. I noticed (using top) that firefox hogs a lot of cpu time when playing videos with flash which on top of pulse's own hogging sometimes causes skipping of the sound output. I've also noticed that after playing videos for extended periods of time, the computer gets really slow and takes a while to regain former speed. I often decide to restart...any idea of what could be causing this? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
