No, we won't release random git snapshots... ;-) But can you be a bit more specific please? What commit is supposed to fix it? I don't see a recent one that would change anything in this regard. And kwave definitely shows up in Multimedia here when using Plasma. Which desktop are you using? The problem may lie there.
