https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=665146 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=665146#c0 Summary: Unable to choose new icon for menu item Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mcastelein@rocsoft.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 SUSE/3.6.12-0.7.1 Firefox/3.6.12 Whenever I add an item to the GNOME menu for Lotus Notes, it will choose an icon by itself from /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/mimetypes/, which is an icon that I do not want to use. Selecting a different icon has no effect, the pre-chosen icon cannot be changed. I went so far as to delete the icon from /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/mimetypes/, and now my menu has an entry with no icon at all, yet I still cannot choose a new one. Strangely, when I go to edit menus, the icon still appears there despite the file being gone. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add Lotus Notes to menu 2. Select new icon Actual Results: New icon selection is completely ignored. Expected Results: New icon used on menu -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
