I believe it's a kerne/udev issue, i.e the kernel is not availabe/created. To verify, what's the ouptut of 'ls /dev/input/event*' when it works and when it doesn't?
When it does work, it's this: pjotr@linux-6yl6:~> ls /dev/input/event* /dev/input/event0 /dev/input/event3 /dev/input/event6 /dev/input/event1 /dev/input/event4 /dev/input/event7 /dev/input/event2 /dev/input/event5 /dev/input/event8 pjotr@linux-6yl6:~> When it does *not* work, it's exactly the same: pjotr@linux-6yl6:~> ls /dev/input/event* /dev/input/event0 /dev/input/event3 /dev/input/event6 /dev/input/event1 /dev/input/event4 /dev/input/event7 /dev/input/event2 /dev/input/event5 /dev/input/event8 pjotr@linux-6yl6:~> -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
