https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=844345 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=844345#c0 Summary: SLE-HA cluster resource migration doesn't happen on primary node reboot Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SLES 11 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Infrastructure AssignedTo: mrueckert@suse.com ReportedBy: praveen.krishnamoorthy@lsi.com QAContact: lrupp@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=561735) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=561735) Logs collected using hb_report tool User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 Testcase: 1.Perform IO in a client to an LD exported through NFS by the primary server (SydneySLES). 2.Perform reboot or shutdown of the primary server (SydneySLES) using the command ‘reboot’ or ‘init 0’ 3.Expectation is the cluster services and the LD would migrate to secondary server (PerthSLES) Observation: Once SydneySLES (node) undergoes reboot the cluster services are not getting migrated to PerthSLES (node). I could see that the filesystem service couldn’t be stopped in SydneySLES (as it is already undergoing reboot) and PerthSLES is trying to fence SydneySLES which fails. There is an continuous attempt to fence SydneySLES and the cluster service migration doesn’t happen. Setup Environment & Logs: The same testcase was tried on SLES 11 SP2, SLES 11 SP3, SLES11 SP3 with updates and the results are the same. Attaching the logs when the issue was repro’ed with the SLES 11 SP3. PS: This is different from the issue filed in SUSE Bugzilla (841643) where the testcase was pulling both the SAS cable connection from one server to the storage enclosure. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Perform IO in a client to an LD exported through NFS by the primary server (SydneySLES). 2.Perform reboot or shutdown of the primary server (SydneySLES) using the command ‘reboot’ or ‘init 0’ 3.Expectation is the cluster services and the LD would migrate to secondary server (PerthSLES) Actual Results: There is an continuous attempt to fence SydneySLES and the cluster service migration doesn’t happen. Expected Results: Expectation is the cluster services and the LD would migrate to secondary server (PerthSLES) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
