This is obviously a tough decision you had to make. I'm not involved in the openSUSE community, therefore I have no legitimacy to tell you what to include or what to remove. I can however make you some suggestions: Personnally, I would remove the German translations for the KDE workspace, and include as much translations as possible for the installer. I know many openSUSE's users are from Germany, but most German speak a perfect English and I think the installer is really the priority. More importantly, I would make it clear in the announcement that the KDE liveCD (and the Gnome one if this is the case) supports only a limited number of languages, and that people who don't speak those language are encouraged to install from the DVD. That way, the media in each country would direct to the right installation image.
