HDMI audio was working just fine with the old laptop but it does not work with the new one. The Gnome settings panel correctly lists the 4 HDMI sound devices and I am able to select them, but no sound is played. With pavucontrol the DP-3 device is correctly identified as the one that is connected. aplay -l lists all the devices.
