https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=463315 Summary: grub: menu.lst for windows: use version name e.g. Windows XP Home Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Bootloader AssignedTo: jsrain@novell.com ReportedBy: rjwilmsi@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- YAST installation sets the grub menu.lst entry for windows to 'windows'. I would like this to be improved so that YAST takes a look at the drive to determine what version of windows is running and improves the name of the entry. As a minimum it would be good to differentiate between XP and Vista. Better still would be catch 'Windows 2000', 'Windows XP Home', 'Windows XP Professional', 'Windows Vista Home Basic', 'Windows Vista Business', 'Windows Ultimate' etc. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
