As far as I can tell, the system does resume, but (about half the time) the screen stays black, possibly after a couple of flashes. Today, I looked at /var/log/pm-suspend.log after an unsuccessful resume and found Thu Jun 21 13:27:48 PDT 2007: finished suspend hooks. Allocated buffer at 0x2010 (base is 0x0) ES: 0x0201 EBX: 0x0000 /etc/pm/functions: line 131:4949 Illegal instruction /usr/sbin/s2ram $S2RAM_OPTS Thu Jun 21 13:58:55 PDT 2007: running resume hooks. in the middle of the log and figured it was time to report a bug. I'll attach the complete /var/log/pm-suspend.log file.
