[Bug 1015603] When installing multiple desktops, MATE's start menu disappears

This time only installed XFCE and MATE, as well as my normal assortment of packages. It selected the add-ons required and installed. I logged in with XFCE. All good. I then logged out and logged in via MATE. Worked like a charm.
