https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=406401 Summary: openSUSE 11.0 netinstall permanently adds repository on locally installed system Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dieter.jurzitza@t-online.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- When starting openSUSE Netinstall iso (64Bit) on my 10.3 system from CD I cancelled the installation after verifying that it _would_ work prior to the final gateway decision update / do not update. Nevertheless the openSUSE 11.0 installer permanently added the 11.0 repository on the harddisk, thereby causing errors with regard to an invalid repoository. This encorporates two issues: 1.) if I do not confirm to actually modify the installed system the installer _should_ keep hands of the locally installed system. 2.) the error caused by this could potentially cause problems to not so experienced users as they would have to manually modify the update / source data configuration.
