https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=231723 ------- Comment #1 from joeshaw@novell.com 2007-01-04 11:13 MST ------- The Thunderbird backend doesn't have a dependency on beagle-search: Requires: MozillaThunderbird /bin/sh mono(Beagle) = 0.0.0.0 mono(BeagleDaemonLib) = 1.9.1.2 mono(Images) = 0.0.0.0 mono(Mono.Posix) = 1.0.5000.0 mono(System) = 1.0.5000.0 mono(Util) = 0.0.0.0 mono(gdk-sharp) = 2.8.0.0 mono(glade-sharp) = 2.8.0.0 mono(glib-sharp) = 2.8.0.0 mono(gmime-sharp) = 2.2.0.0 mono(gnome-sharp) = 2.8.0.0 mono(gtk-sharp) = 2.8.0.0 mono(mscorlib) = 1.0.5000.0 It does have a GNOME dependency though, because of the Thunderbird contact viewer that's included in the package. There's no way to open addressbook contacts outside of Thunderbird itself, so we had to write our own small tool. (Analogous to the IM contact viewer we have in beagle-search for IM conversations.) I guess we could move that into beagle-search, but how will other tools handle opening of Thunderbird contacts? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
