http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=620413 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=620413#c12 --- Comment #12 from Roberto Helering <roberto.helering@everett.nl> 2010-07-26 13:34:46 UTC --- BTW, I've been playing with the mixer, thinking it might be the issue, I've tried the following: 1.- Having all microphones enabled. 2.- Only selected the desired microphone and muting the rest of the microphones (like, if I plug it into the rear microphone - not front - muting the front microphone). 3.- Playing around "Microphone Boost" level (If I put it in the maximum level there is too much distortion I cannot even wear the headsets....). I've tried setting it to a medium level with the Microphone volume @ 100% but still there was silence after trying to hear my recordings... So, as you can see, OpenSuse seems to recognize the sound card but just the microphone is the one not working. In case you're doubting it might be the Microphone on the motherboard, I've installed Windows Vista 64 bits and it worked just fine. Hope that helps. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
