Neil, what are the exact steps to reproduce the problem?
I don't know about "exact" same steps, but pretty much the same. My standard install: Unselect "use automatic configuration". Leave: new install (never an update). For the partitioner, import the partitioning from a prior install. Import users (not available with live media) Configure grub to boot from the "/boot" partition (or "/root" if there is no separate "/boot"). But skip that step for grub2-efi (one of the affected boxes). Configure "enable ssh and open firewall" Select software - mainly KDE + Gnome + XFCE + LXDE + sendmail + all selectable browsers. Proceed with install. ------- The two computers where I see this: A Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop, purchased Dec 2009. A Dell 660 Desktop with UEFI BIOS, purchased this year. Both have Intel graphics (use i915 driver). ----- The computer that do not have the problem: A Dell Dimension C521, purchased 2007. A Toshiba laptop, purchased 2004 (32bit only). My guess is that it is related to the Intel graphics, but it could be something else. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
