https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=660373 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=660373#c29 --- Comment #29 from Jeff Mahoney <jeffm@novell.com> 2011-01-25 18:17:07 UTC --- apparmor in security:apparmor:factory now has the repository functionality be completely optional and disabled by default on fresh systems. It can be disabled on update systems by adding allow_repository = no to the [settings] section in /etc/apparmor/logprof.conf. Scott, I'd really appreciate if you stopped speculating about Novell's relationships with other companies, our corporate priorities, and how they relate to openSUSE. openSUSE is a community distribution that Novell helps to sponsor but it is not a Novell product. Many Novell employees do work on openSUSE, but they do so at their own option. To be clear: We work on what we want to work on and the project is driven by those who do the work. It's clear that you're passionate about certain areas, but sometimes your priorities may differ from others'. Obviously lowering the detect rate is an important goal of any project, and one that we all try to assist with, but you need to understand that for your goals to be accomplished on your time line, you're going to need to submit patches yourself. Demanding that the project pour effort onto your problems while you berate the very people that might be doing the work is going to get you nowhere, fast. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
