https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=470874 Summary: openSUSE Updater KDE applet offers updates for non-installed packages Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: maarten@treewalker.org QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Community User The updater applet shows two recommended updates for my machine: fileshareset version 124 and kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger version 235. Neither of these packages is currently installed on my machine. If I accept the update, the updater is busy for about a second and then offers the same two updates again. I tried installing the packages and then running the update, but that does not make the offered updates go away. I tried removing /var/cache/zypp/solv/openSUSE-11.0-Updates/solv ("grep" reported it contains "fileshareset") and restarting the update applet, but that did not help either. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
