https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=233602 Summary: Blank desktop on session start (intermittently) Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: osl@16hd.freeserve.co.uk QAContact: qa@suse.de K6-2/500 - several systems, various chipsets, RAM size etc. KDE gives error at session start "The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly", followed by no icons on desktop (though taskbar is OK). Also seen on 10.1 final on some of the same hardware, seems more prevalent using 10.2 Happens with local login or with remote, probably > 75% of session starts. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
