http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=560868 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=560868#c7 --- Comment #7 from Robert Davies <rob.opensuse.linux@googlemail.com> 2009-12-17 12:37:38 UTC --- Is it simple to trigger some action if the source repo is enabled graphically? Simple information likely suffices to avoid confusion. For example "This program does not support source rpm installation, so install source rpm's with command 'zypper si'", or some feedback when source repo is selected in the software manager rather than showing nothing. The Fate entry aims I think to provide a more general web enabled source browser, which opens up the source even without having the distro installed. Perhaps that could be referred to in future, if when implemented it's preferred over source rpm. Personally I have not been affected by this, because I would download source with a browser and install on CLI using rpm, when investigating SuSE patches. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
