https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=896024 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=896024#c0 Summary: repository of type local directory is not refreshed altough new RPMs are in the directory Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: yast2-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: rens.groenewegen@xs4all.nl QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 using a local directory as a repository in yast is problematic. new rpms are not recognized, although using the repository tool from yast to refresh the specific repository. only deleting it and re-adding helps. this has been the case since suse 11.x as far as I know. I finally got really annoyed with it :-) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.add rpm to local directory repository 2.start yast2 => repository => refresh said repository 3.go into yast2 => software => seek the rpm's name 4. the new rpm will not be visible. Actual Results: no new rpm visible in yast->software Expected Results: new rpm should have been visible removing the repo and re-adding it "solves" the problem. I wonder if this is a local dir only problem, or wether other repo types have the same issue ?? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
