https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=411493 Summary: Print queues not emptying Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Samba AssignedTo: samba-maintainers@SuSE.de ReportedBy: a_beretta@fwceu.com QAContact: samba-maintainers@SuSE.de Found By: --- similar ref.: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4446 Configuration: Opensuse 11.0 standard installation with KDE4 Samba Server 3.2.0-22.1 Cups 1.3.7-25.1 Default samba configuration Default cups configuration (only a printer to parallel:/dev/null added) Clients: 1 x Vista x64 and 1 x XP x86 I have added the drivers x64 and x86 (HP Laserjet 5 included in windows) on the samba server from the 2 clients as root, after I have connected the printer on the clients (point and print) and everything has been successful. I have printed some test page but in samba the works in the queue are never cleared (in cup everything is done correctly) For reset the situation I need to stop samba, delete the file/var/lib/samba/printing/printername.tdb and restart samba.
