I was able to isolate the file responsible for the crash; the file had been created with Microsoft Visio... nautilus-2.20.0-5.2 (all current updates installed) Instructions to repeat: Copy the SVG file I'll attach into your home directory. Then open the GNOME file browser Nautilus.
