Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: novell-web@zmi.at QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=279708) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=279708) overview of "you" first window - no patches to install User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.6 This system was 32bit once, and has been upgraded to 64bit and is OS11.1 now. Everything fine, but "you" always wants to install tons of 32bit packages (see attachments). They are not patches, and if I try manually in yast2 package manager to "extras->check system", "upgrade all packages if never version" or otherwise find out why those packages should be installed, I can't see the dependency. Can you guide me on how to tell "you" to not try to install those packages? We are not on 32bit anymore! And if there were deps, I should be able to find them with yast2 package manager... # uname -a Linux orion 2.6.27.19-3.2-xen #1 SMP 2009-02-25 15:40:44 +0100 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. call you 2. no patches to install, but press "accept" 3. tries to install lots of 32bit packages -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
