https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=418120 Summary: zypper: style of package list Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jengelh@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer # zypper up -t package 'xorg*' Reading installed packages... The following packages are going to be upgraded: xorg-x11-xtrans-devel xorg-x11-util-devel xorg-x11-server xorg-x11-proto-devel xorg-x11-libxkbfile-devel xorg-x11-libxkbfile xorg-x11-libxkbfile-32bit xorg-x11-libxcb-devel xorg-x11-libxcb xorg-x11-libxcb-32bit xorg-x11-libs [...see screenshot...] The developers seemed to try make the zypper output fit within 80 columns (i.e. insert newlines at the appropriate position), however, this does not look quite right, as you can see from the attached png, lines are up to 83 wide and thus break into the next line. Also, only the first line is intended by two spaces, all others use none. Either this should be fixed and/or I am also fine with zypper printing everything just in one line (and let the terminal break it on 80). # rpm -q zypper zypper-0.11.9-0.1 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
