When starting SSSD, the following lines are logged to /var/log/messages: -------- Oct 16 19:38:18 hostname sssd: nscd socket was detected. Nscd caching capabilities may conflict with SSSD for users and groups. I would suggest to change NSCD configuration accordingly (or disable it completely) when SSSD is installed/used! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.
