[Bug 1000501] Sound card was not configured during installation from DVD

If it worked in 42.1 then something else has been changed. (Kernel? Systemd? PulseAudio? VirtualBox?) What yast2-sound does is that it forces kernel module loading. But the alsa drivers should be normally loaded automatically... Maybe they are black listed?
